Potreba za izvođenjem sedacije prilikom snimanja magnetnom rezonancom (MR) u pedijatrijskom uzrastu značajno je povećana poslednjih godina. Adekvatna sedacija jedan je od najvažnijih činilaca visokokvalitetnog MRI snimka. Izbor odgovarajućih lekova kao i dovoljna oprema za praćenje su od vitalnog značaja za efikasnu i sigurnu duboku sedaciju pedijatrijskih pacijenata u ambulantnim uslovima.
